'Lincoln’s Tinned Peaches have a new track out called Surrender. It brings together an intriguing mix of flavours. Fast and funky in a frantic Post-Punk influenced manner, the striking melody and tasty Bass Guitar figures grab me immediately. The band’s playing and chemistry is impressive across the board. In the chorus we get tempo shifts, multi-tracked voal harmonies. In the final section, the lead guitarist goes for it and the band’s playing is fluid and almost freeform'.

‘Tinned Peaches were in Ed. 67 and now are in Ed. 68 on account of ‘You’re Not Alone Now’.  Twangy and jangling guitar reminds me a little of Khruangbin jamming with Teenage Fan Club while the male vocal is very distinctive and delivers the infectious melody with an agreeable edgy and slightly harsh rasping tone that holds my attention wile the band’s interplay is light textured at first and then punchy and spacious as the bass and drums kick in. The harmonies are lovely too’.

Tinned Peaches

‘You can’t pigeon hole them. They are referential to the seminal greats of 1960s/1970s without being pastiche. The female vocal is a good counterbalance to the big guitars. I actually think that delivers their modern edge’.
